Gorilla Playsets dimensions and safety zones

Short answer
Gorilla puts the Chateau's safety footprint at 31 × 26 ft and the Navigator's at 31 × 30 ft, a 6 ft perimeter round the set. Filling those with 12 in of wood chips takes about 30 to 34 cubic yards; the bigger Pioneer Peak and Empire need about 45 to 48.

Gorilla's manuals rate these sets for children 3 to 11 and 7 users: 4 on the deck and 3 on the swings (1,225 lb in all where stated). Gorilla gives a 6 ft perimeter round the set; where it doesn't print the total, we added 6 ft to each side of its footprint. Only the Outing's manual states a fall height (6'-3"); for the others we list the deck height.
How deep, and why the maker's zone may not be enough
Surfacing volumes cover the maker's safe play area at 12 in of wood chips (it settles to 9 in) or 8 in of rubber mulch (settles to 6 in), the depths CPSC's 2025 playground handbook uses. Both protect falls up to 10 ft, above every set here.
CPSC's home playground handbook also asks for swings to have clear space in front and behind of twice the height of the swing beam, which can reach past a maker's rectangle. Put your set into the playset safety zone calculator for the CPSC version, or plan your own with swing set plans.
